Who We Are
We started Novelpedia because we were tired of the same problem: great stories hidden behind paywalls, authors underpaid, and readers constantly hitting "unlock to read more."
We were just a group of college students who read webnovels to get through the day. We knew what readers wanted. We knew what authors deserved. So we built it.
Novelpedia is a free webnovel platform built for two kinds of people: those who write, and those who can't stop reading.
Authors share freely here. No complicated contracts, no gatekeeping, no locked chapters. Just your story, your audience, and the freedom to write on your own terms.
Readers enjoy without limits. Fantasy, romance, cultivation, action, fanfiction, thousands of stories... all free, from independent authors who actually love what they create.
Why We Built This
We wanted a platform that felt fair. One where the community came first, where a first time author had as much of a shot as anyone, and where a reader could binge an entire series without pulling out a credit card.
That's still the goal. Every feature we build, every decision we make, it comes back to that.
Where We Are Now
We're growing. New authors join every week. New stories drop every day. And our community on Discord, on YouTube, across social media keeps pushing us to do better.
We're nowhere near done. But we're proud of where we've started.
