Planet Tivula, a large world offset around the South Region of the Galaxy. While mostly a desert planet, it features a single capital called “Vispa”. The inhabitants of the world are comprised of people that Earth would think of “fennec foxes”. Particularly Tivula is not some major or key planet but through unfortunate circumstances, Dark Intrinium have launched an invasion over Vispa to take over its nation and people as means of securing more space to lay down factories and a larger extension of Veyronia. This attack was issued by The Elders; however, Lord Veyron was made aware of this operation. For reasons unknown, many question an invasion on such a small world. The people of Vispa contacted Soul-Core for help, Tivula wasn’t under Soul-Core protective jurisdiction but since Dark Intrinium are enemies of the faction, rescue and recovery was under-way. = = = { Minutes Before Battle } A Soul-Core convoy was slowly advancing through the vast desert; they only had a one-way entry to Vispa that could keep them undetected for the time being. The ground convoy consisted of Terrain Tank Attackers, several pieces of artillery that ranged from infantry ordinance and ground-to-air weapons. About 500 Soul-Core Soldiers were on foot with another 500 on standby once enemy contact is made. “It’s so fucking hot.” The scourging heat of the desert elevated by the sun made it nearly unbearable for soldiers that carried heavy equipment and were fully armored, but they are Soul-Core soldiers, endurance and perseverance is what made them so dominant when faced with their enemies. “You signed up for this. I doubt it’ll take long before we get there.” A soldier was checking his wristwatch, holstering his standard issued battle rifle. “The debriefing said that we are to engage Vispa and create an opening but an opening for what? Why are we even helping these fox people?” The soldier whined about the heat was now complaining about the mission at hand. “We want to stop Dark Intrinium from extending any more territories, even spaces that aren’t under Soul-Core Protective Jurisdiction still have to be sought after, and these people called for our help. It would look bad if we said no.” “But I do agree, the debrief was left cryptic towards the end, all they told us is to wither down enemy lines and that they’ll take care of the rest once our mission is complete.” “Does this mean we got some like crazy superweapon at hand waiting to be used? If so, this mission is killer enough we just gotta make it to the end to see it!” “I am not sure about that.” Soul-Core hasn’t been able to properly assess extremely potent military-grade weapons because of the lack of resources across several systems, that in which Dark Intrinium has total control over. To add insult to injury, all classified documents regarding military technology of Soul-Core get a leak toward Dark Intrinium and thus become obsolete by the time of use. D.I are known for having technology far ahead of Soul-Core, but what keeps the war so tight is that Soul-Core’s infantry is bold, brave and stupidly strong. Eventually, the idea starts to dwindle between technology vs. the Soul. “Enough chit-chat you two, we are about to approach the alpha point.” A TTA Crew Chief popped his head out of the hatch. “Report to the skies to go ahead and start engaging.” He said to one in charge of communications. “Right.” The soldier took out his communicator {R}: “This is Firebyrd, target location is going to be Thirty-Eight South, 4-5-2-3-1 7-3-2-1, clear to engage.” {R}: “Copy that, be there in a jiffy.” Powerful engines were heard above as two starfighter emerged from the atmosphere and blasted past the convoy. “Goddamn.” {R}: “Dropping Laser-Guided Explosives, stand clear.” {R}: “Clear!” A series of laser-guided explosives were dropped, forming a huge cluster of explosions going off in the distance. “So coooool.” The X90-B, a bomber-class starfighter, it houses payloads of up to 50 tons while maintaining hyperson
