Sachiel, Asheera, Flynnigan and Jumkou were all sat in Sachiel's personal shuttle. Asheera was reading a book while Flynnigan was practicing a fighting stance with Jumkou's assistance. Sachiel was on the pilot seat staring at an amalgamation of galactic gas and dense energy fields. It was beautiful. With this, he realized that the Library might just be in a pocket dimension protected by an energetic and massive field similar to what he was seeing through the cockpit. “The Veil of Hyul'karth'an.” He stated calmly as he read his Greatfather's notes about the library. But these weren't his own notes, those were Xhandar's. A loud thud followed with a groan left all the interior sounds and the humming of deep space fall onto deaf ears. “Some battle stance that is...” Flynnigan taunted Jumkou after being defeated in a practice fight for the fifth straight time. “You were wobbling all the time. Your feet aren't rooted.” Jumkou explained to Flynn. “You made this stance up, I swear.” Flynn said. “Seriously, I look ridiculous.” He kicked the air with an uncoordinated flourish that nearly sent him toppling over a console. “Ah!” “What's the point of having a stance? All you gotta do is punch and kick and hope it lands, right? Isn't that how they fight? Besides, if you only have a sty-” “Wrong!” Jumkou bonked him in his head with her fist. “GH- But battle stances are just for s-” “Wrong!” “Stop hitting me!” “Were you not listening when I fought for your life back in the mountains?” Jumkou asked with a sigh. Flynn thought about it. “... I don't remember that. You had to take him down for me. I was pretty much a deadweight back there.” Flynn sulked as he admitted it. It was true. While he possessed a fearsome potential, he hadn't learned to harness it. Right now, he was an unrefined weapon. Dangerous, perhaps, to himself most of all. “There's no getting through to you,” Jumkou threw her hands up in defeat. “You can do whatever you want. Just so you know, anger doesn't bring you victories...” “Tranquility does, I know...” He sighed. “youdonthavetorepeatwhatmreriasaidtomeyoustupidlittle-” “Whaddya' say!?” Flynnigan cowered in fear. “N-NOTHING, MR... MS. KATATORIA!” he quickly said, raising both of his hands in surrender. Jumkou smiled with mischief as she was about to speak, but the intercom's sharp crackle cut her short. The ship was hit by a serious wind caused by the energy emitted from the pocket dimension. It was enough to disrupt the ship for a few seconds. “Inertial dampeners are taking a hit. Struggling against the spatial current. I'm going to have to plot a micro-jump to get past the entry point.” Sachiel's voice, strained but steady, filtered through the speakers from the cockpit. “Hold onto something.” “...... Huh?” Asheera jolted her head upwards. The energy emitted from the pocket dimension surged rapidly in levels unable to be contained by the ship. If they weren't micro-jumping from one end to the other, they would've been spaghettified. It worked like a wormhole. If it collapsed, they would be torn apart. If they were stuck inside it, they'd be stuck forever until their resources deplete. And now while they were micro-jumping, they died and came back to life instantly. A sensation of being pulled apart and reassembled atom by atom washed over them. For a fraction of a second, Flynnigan saw not the shuttle's interior, but a million shattered realities of screaming people and dying stars. It was perhaps a glimpse into The Arc, but they will never know that. Then it was over. Asheera gasped. The feeling had torn her book from her hands; it floated lazily in the ship. Flynnigan didn't feel as weirded as she was, and neither did Jumkou and Sachiel. “...Did we just-” “Yeah, looks like it.” Asheera said as she grabbed the book and walked over to the cockpit. She rubbed her eyes and then looked at the space of the pocket dimension. There were small asteroids scattered around the library. It was the only celestial body there. It resemb
