= = = {The General’s Office Room} “Sir!” All three of them said in tandem. They were in a saluting position before the General. “At ease, I think I’ve dealt with enough formalities as of today. I just got back from a meeting with a G.D meeting.” “Yes sir!” Spiker yelled. The General wore glasses, in fact, he looked a little ordinary. “…No.” “For right now, I am not sir nor General. I will now be referred to as your friend, Manazu.” .:. F-friend..? .:. Mica thought to herself. “Yes, Manazu! It’s good to meet you, friend- woof!” “You sound too formal, as of right now, I do not formalities, in fact, I am bothered by it. Stop it.” “What do you want from us, Manazu?” Kenel spoke up. The General, or Manazu, fixed his glasses straight. “I’m sure you heard about what’s going on in Tivula, to put it simply, the three of you will infiltrate from the rear gates of Vispa as the battle commences from the front, serves a good enemy distraction. I called you in personally to see if you are up to the task of also taking out a Berserker of the Dark Intrinium order, Orsin.” “Of course we are capable, there must be a reason as to why you called for us specifically. No rat-assed Berserker is threatening enough to make us stand down. To PUT it simply, Manazu, you don’t really care about the state of Tivula, you just want this Orsin dude out of the picture- does he bother you, sir?” Mica said. Manazu loomed over Mica with a bothered expression. “What did I tell you?” .:. Oh goodness, I can feel his Soul-Aura suppressing me in place. .:. “Orsin has been a thorn in many of our operations, you take him out now, those Elders will begin to question their own methods, ideally I would easily take care of him myself, but I’ve become too busy these days to see any battle.” “I suggest you run along, you don’t have much time. Actually, I don’t suggest anymore, this has become an order, and I have become your General, not your friend.” “Get going.” “Sir!” The three said in tandem. - “Ughh that was a little weird. Mind you this is my first impression on the guy..” Mica sat back on her heated seat, the three had left the Octa building and gone onto their transport ship. Kenel was surfing through the computer systems, locating the quickest route possible to planet Tivula. He was essentially what they call the “nerd” of the three, his entrance to the division was based upon his intellect, that’s what this division was. Mica, Kenel and Spiker were once in the general army, but each possessed their own niche that enabled them to be a part of Soul-Core’s special division. They are three of many, this division is not about pure strength but optimization for each and every mission. “General Manazu, I didn’t expect him to be quite young! I can’t say I’m too shocked however, the stories I’ve heard of him are incredible. He operates like a war general than just a general who holds a title.” Spiker took his coat off and placed it neatly on a rack. The ship took off and ascended toward the atmosphere. Mica pulled out a bag of snacks with Spiker’s name on the bag. “Oh yeah? Who’s a hungry boyyyy??” “WOOF-“ Spiker jolted up at the scent of the treats, he jumped onto the seat next to Mica. “C’mon big boy, tell me more about this General of ours!” She began hand feeding him. “They say he has fundamental levels of power, he started shortly after the fall of Kytron Veyron, but his golden period was when Serith Arannis was still alive. It is widely speculated that the two fought each other, but it isn’t confirmed. Arannis was a fabled Prime Berserker and an incredibly tough opponent, as they say. Our General is what held most strings together, every battle he has been involved in was an undefeated streak for him. He himself is a one-man army.” Spiker kept snacking. “Yes of course, the fabled Serith Arannis. He really set the bar for strength, unexpended strength at that. I respect and credit the General, but I highly doubt the two have fought, it would not end in a draw. Arannis o
