“ It should be almost time, right?” That single thought is what occupies the voids consciousness. Sealed inside a young girls body, chained and bound in nullity by the 3rd Saintess of the sun god. She promised it a time where it can fulfill it’s longing and desire, and now that a thousand years have passed, the promised day approaches. crack “ Finally!, the chains have weakened enough!” The void strains its body against the chains, they creak and bend until eventually…they break. Finally freed from the chains, the void stretched its stiff body. “ Ah! Being able to move again feels so nice! That saintess really did keep her promise!” The void looks around, looking for something. “ Hmmm, the boundary closest to that world should be somewhere…Aha!” In the distance, a haze can be seen, smudged colors and distorted sounds appear every now and then from it. The void runs towards that haze, stopping in front of it, it looks into it and hesitates. “ …Will it be the same as last time? …No, nevermind, lets not dwell on the past, a thousand years have gone bye and humans only live up to a hundred.” After a moment of deliberation, the void finally steels itself and steps through the haze. “Aaand, done! that should be enough berries!” The little girl, now with a basket filled with red berries, dusts her self off and and stretches her body. “ahh! that took some time! I have to get home quickly now, before my mom gets worried” The little girl walks in the direction of the village, skipping and humming a cheerful tune. She giggles at the sight of two squirrels fighting over a nut. As she continues on her way, she notices something behind some bushes. As she moves closer, she makes out what looks like a bundle of something black. She steps through the bush then gasps. There, on the forest floor, a child barely older than her is unconscious. She takes in the features of the child; Black hair darker than the night, pale, marble like skin devoid of any blemishes. As her eyes drift down the child’s body, her face flushes, her reason rushing back to her. she shakes her head. “Wow, she is really beautiful….wait no she might be hurt, and why is she not wearing anything? I gotta bring her to the village with me.” She puts down the berry basket and hauls the girl onto her back. “ wow, she’s surprisingly light” She picks up the berry basket and hurriedly makes her way to the village. “—To be fine, it seems that she was just very exhausted” “Thank you Doctor, however, isn’t she too light?” “That’s the weird part, she is definitely too light for her age, however there aren’t any signs of malnourishment, she might be a rare case who just is naturally light” “Thank you Doctor, and sorry for brining you here so late, seeing my daughter carrying a girl around her age really gave me a fright you know” “Hahaha, it’s no problem miss, this is my job after all. She shakes her head “How did my daughter find such a person, with her looks, she must be a nobles daughter” “Mom, is she gonna be okay?” Her daughter peaks into the room from the doorway “The doctor said she needs some rest. Inaya, you did good, rescuing a person in need and checking up on them is very noble of you.
