Yuliana and Blaine walked through the winding stone corridors till they reached a flight of stairs leading upwards. “Oh? Where does this path lead to?” Yuliana said as she looked up towards the wide stairway. “It leads above to the higher floors of the Stone Tree. Our destination is the third floor, where the accommodation centre is. The Stone Tree begins with the teleportation chamber which has been designated the first floor and slowly goes upward to a total of three floors with different amenities and a greenhouse at the top on the fourth floor. There are also two floors leading down referred to as basement one and basement two. Basement one has the hidden library, meeting room and the office of some of the other higher ups. Basement two is not accessible to anyone other than the higher ups so I don’t know what’s there.” “Uhuh, good to know,” Yuliana said with a nod. She was intrigued by the idea of a secretive basement two, but didn't say anything. Blaine began walking upwards as Yuliana trailed behind her. They walked for a moment before turning around and going up another flight of stairs, reaching the second floor. Yuliana was interested in what lay beyond the corridor of the second floor but Blaine just walked upwards. She reined in her curiosity and followed behind her, eventually reaching the third floor. Yuliana entered a much larger corridor with multiple doors that spanned on both sides till a long way down. Periodic empty spaces on both sides could be found, leading to more rooms on the left and right. Blaine walked through one of the empty spaces on the left and said, “There are seven corridors on this floor with each corridor having twenty five rooms on each side, totalling fifty per corridor.” Yuliana put a hand on her chin and muttered, “Fifty rooms per corridor, seven corridors total, so... 350 rooms!?” Yuliana looked at Blaine, her voice raising in surprise. Blaine nodded her head. “Around that. Not all rooms are available for use. The room we’re looking for should be...” her voice trailed off as she turned right passing another corridor. After walking for a moment, she arrived and stood in front of a door. Written on it was, Room 134 Beneath was written in some fancy letters and flowery designs, ~Ms. Leopard’s Abode~ “Yup, this is the one,” Blaine said with a giggle. She knocked on the door. There was no response. She knocked on the door louder. “H-huh!??” a surprised voice rang out from within. “Who’s there!?” the woman inside asked. “It’s me, now open up or I intrude in ten seconds!” Blaine exclaimed and brought out a iron key that glimmered under the fire of the overhead lantern. “Ms. Starfish? You’re here?” the voice behind rose in pitch. “Yup. And we’d like to talk with you about something. So, ten, nine, eight...” “We? Ms. Rabbit as well?” “Yup! Six, five...” “W-wait a minute! My room’s very messy! Ahh noo!!!” Louds sounds of things crashing down and shuffling of furniture could be heard from outside the room. The entire room quaked from within “Three, two, one!” Blaine raised her key and before she could insert it into the slot of the door, “I’m done!” Ms. Leopard’s face with her grey leopard mask and short blonde hair peeked out from the corner of the door. “Oh? Good on you you’ve gotten faster! As expected of someone called Ms. Leopard,” Blaine bobbed her head up and down. “Now just because my name is Ms. Leopard and my Series is all about speed doesn’t mean that I’m immune to surprises! You really scared me there!” “That was the intention, but,” Blaine broke off before laughing with a hand on her stomach. Yuliana also did her best as she put a hand over the mouth of her mask and stifled a giggle. Ms. Leopard tilted her head in confusion. “What’s wrong?” Blaine’s back hunched over as she said amidst a fit of laughter, “Your hair’s all frazzled!” “Huh?” Ms. Leopard touched her hair, only to find it pointing in different directions and curled around itself like a circus atop her head, looking very s
