The majestic garden shimmered with its wonted rapture. However, unbeknownst to all, the wilting flower which stood unbothered by the world, ever so slightly shivered. Not for joy; not for happiness; but for something much, much deeper... Yuliana sighed as she gazed at his slumbering figure. He had fallen asleep while sitting, his head rested against the sofa. "At the very least, go to your bed. Don't doze off in the living room..." she said with a exasperated expression. She giggled and added with a mischievous grin, "Perhaps it's not a bad thing. I get explore the house of an Artisan and maybe get my revenge." Yuliana shook her head. That's probably a bad idea. Who knows what scary things lie in the house of an experienced Artisan? Although he did say I can explore it, I'd rather not risk it. She took her unfinished tea and drank it one gulp. She also took away Evander’s cup and put them in the kitchen. After washing up a bit, she decided to just explore outside. At that moment, she realized something. She didn't have shoes! She slammed her forehead in vexation. "I forgot to ask about shoes! Wait a second, isn't this his fault? He was the one who suggested me to go outside in the first place. Hmm, I don’t think he has prepared any shoes." Yuliana crossed the living room and walked past the entrance to the storefront. Soon, she arrived at the entrance to the house and looked about the shoe rack. She rummaged around for a bit and just as she had expected, there were no shoes suitable for her. But she did find something else though. “Oh? Is this the key to the house? What is it doing here?” Yuliana said as she picked the key up from underneath the carpet. Although she knew there would be no shoes there, she still checked for the sake of it. She put it inside the key slot of the front door and confirmed that it really was the key to the house. She frowned as she took a closer look at it. “Ew, even though it’s the key to the literal entrance of his house, does he even use it? There’s so much dust over it. Maybe this is a spare. Anyways, I should probably clean it.” She took a moment to head to the kitchen and rinse it under the water. She grabbed a nearby towel and wiped it till the key was squeaky clean “Good, the key to one’s house should be at least this proper,” she said with a smile as she looked at the clean iron of key sparkling under the sunlight. She headed back to the front door and fell into her previous dilemma. "Hmm, the key’s all good, but what should I do about the shoes?" she thought out loud. Then, an idea struck her. Grinning mischievously, she took out one of Evander's shoes which fit her best and wore it. It was a simple brown leather boot. It fit her aesthetic well, matching with the colour of her cardigan. "It's a bit bigger than my liking but eh, it works well enough. Yup, this is a good revenge," she nodded with a smile, content with herself. With a breath, she walked out of the door and locked it behind her, stepping into the world outside. A cold breeze hit her face, bringing with it the smell of grass and dew. Yuliana stepped down a short flight of stairs and onto a stone paved walkway. On its one side was a freshly mowed lawn with apple trees, cherry bushes and some flowers. On the other side was a much larger pathway that led to a beautifully decorated storefront with a wooden doll mascot. On the top was a signboard that said, Vander's Stockhouse Beneath the signboard, there was a smaller attachment with the words, Not a restaurant! Yuliana giggled when she saw that. What a cheeky name. I guess being clever comes with its consequences. I never expected that man to have such a well maintained garden though. His hobbies are endless it seems... Yuliana thought with a smile Since it was winter, most of the flowers and trees were withered. She couldn't help but imagine how beautiful it'd look in the heat of summer. She took in a deep breath walked out with a smile on her face. Yuliana didn't have a map nor
