Purple fire rained across Lunar Dominion Academy. The once peaceful academy sectors had transformed into a battlefield beneath shattered skies while emergency sirens echoed endlessly through the floating city. Students and instructors rushed through evacuation corridors as military drones fought desperately against spreading Void distortions. Above everything— The giant gateway still loomed over Noroel. Watching. Waiting. And below it— Sector Three burned. Orion Team sprinted through the academy transport halls while tremors shook the metallic floors beneath them. Carl struggled while carrying too many weapons at once. “I would like to officially resign from cosmic warfare.” “You say that every mission,” Iris answered calmly. “Yes, because every mission becomes worse!” Lucien ignored them completely while activating the energy edge of his blade. Edwin ran ahead silently. Silver flames flickered around the Orion armor covering parts of his body while the ring pulsed steadily like a second heartbeat. But something felt wrong. The closer they moved toward Sector Three— The stronger the whispers became. Not threatening. Not violent. Sad. The Void creatures were afraid. That realization unsettled him more than hatred ever could. The emergency doors ahead exploded open suddenly. BOOOOM. A wave of academy students rushed past Orion Team in panic. “RUN!” “IT’S INSIDE THE TOWER!” One injured student collapsed near Edwin. Purple distortion marks spread across the student’s arm unnaturally. Edwin immediately helped him up. “What happened?” The student trembled violently. “It wasn’t attacking at first…” His voice shook. “It just kept searching the buildings…” Carl blinked. “…Searching for what?” Before the student answered— The academy shook violently again. A deafening roar echoed through the sector. The Void creature had reached the central training towers. Orion Team finally exited into Sector Three. And froze. The entire district was devastated. Several floating platforms had collapsed into the silver ocean far below while fires spread across shattered academy structures. Purple distortions warped the air itself around broken towers like reality had become unstable. At the center of the destruction— The Void creature stood motionless. Up close, it looked even stranger. Its body constantly shifted between forms: shadow, light, stars, and fragments of something almost human. Countless glowing eyes opened and closed slowly across its surface. But despite the destruction— It was not attacking randomly. It was looking around desperately. Carl whispered quietly: “…It looks lost.” Suddenly the creature turned. Every eye locked onto Edwin instantly. The ring burned brightly. And once again— The voice entered his mind. Child… Edwin stepped forward slowly. Lucien immediately grabbed his arm. “What are you doing?” “It recognizes me.” “That is NOT comforting.” The creature moved closer carefully. Not aggressively. Almost cautiously. Purple energy spread around its body while broken debris floated unnaturally into the air around it. Students hiding nearby screamed. Several Dominion drones opened fire immediately. Silver blasts struck the creature repeatedly. And for the first time— It reacted violently. The creature screamed. Reality cracked around it. A shockwave exploded outward, throwing drones from the sky and shattering nearby buildings instantly. Carl crashed behind broken cover. “OKAY IT’S VIOLENT NOW!” Dominion soldiers rushed into the sector from nearby platforms while energy cannons locked onto the creature. Commander units shouted: “Open fire!” “No!” Edwin’s voice echoed across the battlefield. Everyone froze briefly. Even the creature stopped moving. Edwin stepped between the soldiers and the Void entity. Silver flames flickered around his armor. “It’s not trying to kill us.” One soldier looked horrified. “It destroyed half the sector!” “It defended itself!” The soldiers hesitated. Then suddenly— Another distortion opened above the bat
