The moment they started throwing hands again, the air changed, there was no more talking ot hestitation between them, The guy came at him faster than before, like he realized he couldn't underestimate Jin anymore. His first strike aimed for Jin's face once more, sharp and direct. Jin didn't meet it like he did the first time around. He shifted his body slightly to the side, his hand coming up just enough to guide the punch away from him. He felt the force brush past instead of crash into him, and for a split second, everything clicked into place. The next hit came immediately after, aimed a bit lower. Jin adjusted again, not trying to stop it, just redirecting it, letting the momentum carry past him. His movements weren't perfect, but they were smoother than before, like something in his body was catching up with what his mind already understood. The man frowned, clearly noticing. "You're starting to piss me off." He stepped in again, throwing a combination this time, faster, tighter, trying to overwhelm him. Jin's breathing steadied slowly, he moved alongside the flow of his breath and tried not to go against it. Every time their arms met, he guided instead of blocked, turning angles, shifting weight, letting the other man's strength work against him instead of trying to overpower it. A missed punch. A redirected strike. A step out of line. The man lunged forward again, more aggressive now, but Jin caught the motion and turned with it. His hand slid along the man's arm, guiding it across his body while his foot shifted behind the man's stance, and then he pulled on him. It wasn't a hard pull, but it was just enough to break his balance instantly. "What-" His feet slipped out from under him, his body twisting awkwardly before slamming onto the ground with a heavy thud. The air rushed out of him. Jin didn't hesitate. He stepped forward, keeping control, making sure the man stayed down this time. For a second, everything went still. Jin stood there, breathing slightly heavier now, looking down at him. "…That actually worked." [Event Quest Complete.] The words appeared quietly in the corner of his vision. Jin barely reacted. His attention shifted instead to the side, where the gun had landed earlier. He walked over, picked it up, and turned it over in his hand for a second before pointing it down at the man on the ground. The man groaned slightly, still trying to recover. Jin looked at him for a moment, thinking. "…Now what?" If he let him go… There was a chance he'd come back. Or worse, bring others with him to get rid of him for good, and he couldn't risk losing this place. His grip on the gun tightened slightly. "…I can't just let him walk." But, he frowned. "…I'm not killing him either." He wasn't crossing that line. [Suggestion Available.] Jin blinked slightly. "…What?" [Viable Candidate Detected.] [Recommendation: Recruitment] Jin looked down at the man again. Then back at the system. "…You're serious." [Subject meets minimum requirements for employment.] Jin let out a short breath. "…That's insane." But at the same time, it made sense; he was operating in a less-than-savory location, so he would need less-than-savory individuals, and this guy was already living in the kind of world he believed the system was trying to push him into. His gaze dropped back to the man. "…Huh." The man stirred, groaning as he pushed himself up slightly, only to freeze when he saw the gun pointed at him again. His eyes widened. "…Shit…" He raised his hands slowly. "Alright- alright, man- listen-" His voice wasn't calm anymore. "You got me, okay? You win." Jin didn't say anything. Just watched. "…You're gonna kill me?" The question came out squeakier than he probably wanted but Jin simply looked down at him weighing his options. "…Look, man, I don't know who you are, alright? I didn't know this place was yours." He swallowed. "I'll leave. I won't come back. I swear." Still nothing. "…Come on… don't do this." There was real fear in his voice no
