The city never sleeps. Jin always heard people say that but that didnt seem to be true, as he walked on and on towards his destination he realized the city gradually descended into darkness and the life drained from his surroundings. He felt this stress in his chest that made him uneasy something about walking around at night alone made him realize he was at the mercy of anyone who tried to challenge him. He tried to push the feeling down but it didnt go away. His shoes tapped away against the pavement as he went in the direction of Eungam-Dong, he didnt need the system to guide every step yet, he had been to the area before so he knew the general direction or atleast he thought he did. He adjusted his jacket slightly, then shoved his hands into his pockets and kept walking. After a while, seeing open stores became scarce. Streetlights flickered instead of shining steady. A couple of alleys he passed were completely swallowed in darkness. That's when it hit him. "…I stand out." He slowed his pace slightly, he thought about it, he was a guy in a suit, walking alone, late at night, and going straight into a dangerous area. "…Yeah. That's not good." [ Increased risk detected.] The system's voice cut in suddenly. "…No kidding." [Adjust route or reduce visibility.] "…Reduce visibility how? I can't exactly change clothes right now." [Avoid open streets. Utilize low-traffic paths.] Jin glanced ahead, then to the side where he saw a narrow alley, it was dark and quiet. "…You're telling me to go in there?" [Lower probability of encounter: 63%] "…That's not exactly comforting." But considering the fact that he didnt wanna get attacked. His footsteps slowed down, he was trying to be more careful now. The city noise faded behind him, replaced by the faint hum of distant traffic and the occasional drip of water somewhere in the dark. "…Feels like I'm asking to get stabbed." [Current path reduces exposure.] "…Yeah, yeah." He exhaled quietly. He moved through the alley and out the other side, stepping onto another street. This one was far worse than the one before, but he pushed on nonetheless. A couple of figures lingered far down the road, but they didn't pay him any attention. Jin kept walking, trying not to look nervous. But when he was walking past them, all of a sudden, one of the guys talked to him. "Hey." The voice came from his right. Jin stopped. Slowly turned his head towards the two guys behind him. One of them pushed himself off the wall, stepping forward slightly. "…You lost or something?" Jin didn't answer right away. His eyes scanned them quickly. Casual clothes. But not casual posture. The way they stood. The way they looked at him. Yeah. Not good. [Threat assessment: Moderate.] "…I can see that." Jin replied under his breath. "Nice suit," the second guy added, smirking a little. "A bit late to be heading into the office, don't you think?" Jin forced a small shrug. "Just heading home." "Home?" The first guy tilted his head. "Through here?" Jin didn't respond, he simply started to walk forwad but thats when the first guy took his first step forward. "Why don't you stop for a second?" Jin's heartbeat picked up, these guys clearly weren't up to any good. [Recommendation: Disengage immediately.] "…Yeah, I was thinking the same thing." Jin nodded slightly. "Sorry, I'm in a hurry." With that, he turned and started walking away. "Hey." The tone immediately changed. "Did we say you could go?" With that, Jin didn't wait to look back he took up his pace and ran, all he could hear was footsteps following behind him. "Yo stop!" His shoes slammed against the pavement as adrenaline hit him hard. The once quiet street exploded with sound, footsteps chasing behind him, voices shouting. "Catch him!" "Don't let him get away!" "…Shit." His breathing turned heavy almost instantly. He wasn't built for this. Office job. Long hours sitting down. Not running for his life. [Route update: Turn left in 10 meters.] He wanted to argue, but as it stood,
