10:00 AM The time was clearly displayed at the top right corner of Luis's field of vision. "We are back to this place again!" Luis stood confidently on the yellow sand, looking at the familiar terrain in front of him. He was fully equipped: the flowing mage's robe draped over his body, with the tough Mithril Chainmail hidden underneath, and matching Mithril Gloves and Boots covering his hands and feet. His whole appearance exuded a sense of solid defense and mystery. Beside him stood his loyal companion. At over four meters tall, the World Tree looked even more majestic and imposing than before evolution. Its four thick, sturdy root legs supported its heavy trunk steadily, just like a giant green crab standing upright, giving people an invisible pressure just by standing there silently. They had set out early this morning, leaving the safety of their territory specifically to hunt monsters and gain experience. But unfortunately, luck hadn't been on their side along the way. Luis had been transported to this hot, desolate, barren land. The environment was harsh, with very little vitality visible everywhere they went. There were almost no lush plants, only scattered dry shrubs, twisted drought-resistant trees, and piles of strange rocks sparsely distributed across the endless yellow sand. Since there were so few plants and water sources, naturally, there weren't many living creatures or beasts here. Most of the local inhabitants were small, timid animals that hid deep underground, making them incredibly difficult to find. After searching aimlessly for a long time and gaining nothing, Luis simply decided to bring his partner back to the location where they had fought and killed the Level 18 Dunestalker yesterday. "I knew it! Coming back here was the right choice!" A confident smile appeared on Luis's face. With his unique All-Knowing Eyes, he could see things that ordinary people couldn't. Within a radius of roughly ten meters around him, the effective range of this powerful skill, nothing could escape his detection. Right now, floating quietly above a seemingly ordinary empty sand, a semi-transparent blue panel was clearly visible to his eyes. DUNESTALKER Evolution Phase: Phase 1 Level: 12 Class: Poison Attribute Monster Hidden right beneath their feet, lying motionless in ambush, was another giant scorpion! "Just as planned!" Luis pointed decisively towards that direction and spoke softly to his companion beside him. "Right there! Prepare for battle!" The World Tree immediately shook its branches up and down vigorously, acknowledging the order. It didn't rush or act recklessly. Instead, it moved forward step by step with its four heavy root legs, walking slowly but steadily towards the spot Luis indicated. Luis stayed behind at a safe distance. He reached back and took the Mana Rifle slung across his back, holding it firmly in his hands, his eyes fixed on the ground, ready to fire at any moment. "Yes! Right there! Stop!" Luis shouted in a low voice the moment the World Tree arrived at the designated position. The World Tree obeyed instantly. It raised one of its thick, sturdy root legs high into the air, then~ THUMP! It stomped down heavily onto the sandy ground beneath it! The ground shook violently! BOOM! Just a second after the heavy impact, the sand directly beneath the foot exploded outward with a loud crash! A massive yellow-brown creature burst out from under the surface. It was clearly furious at being disturbed while hiding! It leaped out, waving its two large, jagged pincers aggressively in the air, making a frightening clack-clack sound. Its long tail arched high behind its body, the sharp needle at the tip dripping with thick, foul-smelling venom, staring fiercely at the strange tree-like creature standing right above it. "It is a little smaller than the one we fought yesterday," Luis observed calmly while aiming his weapon. "Yesterday's guy was as big as a small car; this one is about the size of a tricycle or ATV.
