Kael watched the commotion from a distance, in silence. Before turning to Rika the next moment and asked, "Is this your doing?" Rika didn't respond directly and just brushed of the question with a grin. "Who knows." She said walking out of the chaos, with Kael following right behind her. 'This woman...is probably the one behind it.' Kael thought to himself as they walked out the reception hall, that had rows of seats and tables. But were all completely empty, obviously because of the riot back in. As the two of them walked past the entrance, Kael paused for a while and stared up into the moon. The cool breeze fluttering his long brownish grey hair in the air along with his rags. Kael shut his eyes and took in a deep breath, before gently exhaling and muttering to himself, "Ten years...." "Ten years, and still the good old moon." "What exactly was I expecting." Just during his time of solitude, Rika broke in, "Curious about the sun?" She approached him with a smile. Kael as usual didn't respond to her immediately, but rather took his time... staring at her attire. 'Didn't notice it earlier, due to all the rush and commotion.' 'But that's quite the outfit.' Kael wasn't wrong, Rika wore a cooperate black pants and shirt, with a heavy golden belt, around her straight waist. But cloaking the attire, was a hooded cloak. With the outer layer bearing a pretty-dark shade of purple, and the inside a lighter shade. "Spacing out, are we?" Rika said, snapping him back to her earlier statement. "The one from the vintage tales?" Kael said turning his gaze to the moon, resting gently admist the horde of dark clouds. "My suspicions of you are constantly growing." He turned back to stare at her. "Don't tell me you have something to do with it?" Hahaha! Rika chuckled in amusement. "Of course I don't." "But if you follow me. On this new path as a pilgrim," Her tone darkening and her expression, changing totally from the joyful care free girl, to a darker and more grim one. With golden cat-like pupils "You will be able to know more about it...or even," She stepped forward, her blood-shut golden eyes, glaring right into Kael's emerald pupils. "You might be able to restore it." She concluded. Kael stared at her meaningfully for a long moment, before speaking. "Dress back. You're too close." As if her words just know where the rambling of a frustrating drunkard. Hah? Rika scuffed in frustration. "That aside." she said walking away from him, moving towards the gate. "We can't have you moving around in those." Her eyes glancing in disgust, at the rags kael put on. "We should get you some new clothes." She said to him, but felt totally shut out and ignored, by the way kael stared at something behind her, with his fingers pointing forward. 'This guy—huh?' she instantly turned around, after noticing his focus was on something else. "Oh. Them?" She looked at the guards sleeping soundly against the walls beside the gates. "Don't worry, they're at sleep." "I personally casted— huh?" Rika paused mid sentence. Realising again, that Kael had just ignored her and walked up to a small bucket by the side of the wall, rinsing the blood of his face and palms. Her dark expression, could tell she was frustrated, 'Is he ignoring me on purpose. Or his reasoning just failed to rejuvenate alongside his body.' Rika breathed a sigh in frustration. "Are you done? Old man Kael." She arched an eyebrow. "Yes." Kael replied, whipping the water off his lips with his arm. "Let's go." He concluded, getting up to his feet and walking away alongside her. The two, walked out of the prison's building. And Kael, didn't seem to keep an expression of relief because of that. The streets where lit up with light bulb lamps. And the ground wasn't stone paved, but rather neatly built and decently laid out with concrete. As they walked, something caught Kael's attention. "They seem to act natural. Although a stranger and prisoner j
