Chapter 10: Golden Token I watched Nathan leave the room with the others, and I turned back to look across the room at the other two males. I still mentally felt the feel of Ciara pressed into me, and the words she whispered. I had no experience with anything to do with girls besides forced school activities. Even then I always did everything and just augmented it with the people that decided to actually contribute. Everything that wasn't to do with mechanized armor had always been something I needed to do. Now... I had to fight for the right to marry a girl that I barely knew. On top of that, these two guys looked like elites you would see on magazine covers. I wasn't intimidated, but I was impressed. Even though these guys clearly had it made, they were pros in some area of gaming. I felt strange about competing with other men for a girl, but even I could feel that more than just this moment was important, but I was also somehow to her. Taking a deep breath, I walked over to introduce myself. Serhii was a tall guy, with short brown hair and green eyes. He was 6'4, and had a lot of muscle. It wasn't overly built, but I could see that it was all toned, and the way he stood was more than enough to tell me that he knew how to handle himself. "Serhii, is it? I am Allen, nice to meet you," I told him, holding my hand out and he took it, and then almost crushed it, but I survived it with no broken bones thankfully. I turned to face the second male, and he was looking me over. He wasn't being subtle either, and his stare was intense. This was a different kind of intensity than Serhii. He wasn't trying to be intimidating, but he was curious. "Hello, I am Allen," I said, and held out my hand, but he just gave me a slight smile. "So, you are the famous Allen "DeathMarch" Voss? King of every achievement?" Lee Xiao Bia asked, and I shrugged at his comment. "Sure, but I just don't like leaving things unfinished," I explained, but then frowned. "What do I call you? I am not very worldly, so I would prefer to just ask rather than assume." "Just Lee for now is fine," He replied, and then turned his attention back to Serhii. "So, we will have to compete with the famous gamer, Death March? This will be interesting. Not that I have a problem with a challenge," Serhii said, and Lee nodded. "He is the most accomplished gamer, but we are here for more than a game," Lee said, and gave me a curious look. "But it seems he has a lead on us already with Miss Clarence." I frowned at this. Not because I was mad or anything, just surprised. "Is this your first time meeting Ciara?" Both of the guys stared at me for a moment with looks of confusion, but then nodded, and I chuckled. That was probably a bad move because both of them narrowed their eyes, and I felt the tension rise, so I put up my hands. "Sorry, not laughing at either of you, just the ironicness of it. I had just only really met Ciara just over an hour ago from running into her. I have gone to school with her, but my focus has always been on mechs and grades, you know?" I said trying to placate the guys, and it seemed to work, mostly. Rather than glare, both started to laugh at me, and not in the way Ciara did. I knew what mocking laughter sounded like, and this was nothing like the crystal chimes from before. Still, my expression refused to change, and I shrugged at them. "It is what it is," I said, and pulled my arms in to cross them. "What areas do you both specialize in? Gaming wise." The two boys exchanged a glance, and then shrugged. "We both do PvP games. Serhii is a sniper, and I am more of an assassin type," Lee answered, and Serhii nodded. "And I assume the game we are playing has some form of PvP?" I asked, and both nodded. "From the info they gave us, yes. There are no limits, but there is no torture, rape, or excessive pain. Any of that stuff, and it counts as dying and you are ejected out of the game. That being said, there are no limits to what we can do, and we will become like
