Chapter 14: In a New World With Just My Bones I had tried to summon more from the grave, but I was only able to summon two wolves with the others. After that, the cold feeling was still there, but I got a headache when I tried to reach for it. That made sense, since it would be weird to have more than five summons right at the start, but the game wasn't stopping, the pain was. Pain. Yeah, the headache gave me a bit of a fright, since this was the first time I had felt something like that in a game. I had felt the dirt, and got some scratches while digging, but the sharp pain the headache brought was a stark reminder that this world had claws, teeth, blades, and magic that could cause much worse. Still, since then, I had spent half the day riding on the shoulder of Bones, my troll skeleton while Chip and Crack flew around. Bo Bo and Fen, my two wolves also made sweeping patrols around Bones, but there were no monsters, or humans. It was strange, but I chalked it up to one of two things. Either this was a result of them not being loaded in yet, or I am inside some kind of zone outside of the normal game area. In the end, it didn't really matter, and if anything this worked to my benefit because I was able to focus on my class, and what I knew about not only necromancers. Walking home last night, Nathan had explained each of the classes to me. Warrior, the one to three hex frontline DPS in most worlds, and I couldn't see it being much different in this world. Stamina and Ki are what fuel their skills, and they can get pretty buff and durable, but they lack variety. Wizard, the standard magic caster, and the only thing that changes between worlds is their style. Some can use more than one element, and some have very specific spells. In most worlds, mages are the glass cannon, meaning they have a lot of firepower, but not a lot of HP. Ranger, a more wide range class that gets more attention than most other classes, but mostly because people are cowards and want to hit crits hiding in bushes. That being said, the ranger class excels in trap making, and tracking. I could even see them contracting or taming a battle pet, since there was no druid or summoner class other than my own. Paladin, the tank that is the opposite of the warrior, and not a glass cannon. The Paladin uses holy Ki, or Divine Energy to protect, and fight. They have a good balance of stats and abilities, and they can even buff themselves and their allies. Priest, a class that is pretty rare because there are so few that have the aptitude. Priests use mana, and are a mix of healer and damage dealer. Probably the strongest against my class, but just like mine, they could probably gain access to spells like draining touch and decay, depending on their affinity. Rogue, like a ranger, needs speed, dexterity, and accuracy, but unlike them, they need to get up close. Both are cowards that hid in bushes, but that is just my personal opinion bleeding out. Still, when it comes to unlocking doors and chests, or disarming traps, this is the class to have on your team. The last other one was Warlock, they used similar energy to necromancy, but their powers usually come from a pact with an old god, evil being, or even a demon. Once they pick a patron, they have a few paths to pick from like summoning or cursing, but all of them have the potential to be pretty powerful. "But you, Allen, are the strangest of them all!" I laughed, and Bones turned his large skull towards me. "Master?" "Nothing. So, have you been a troll for long?" I asked, not sure what I wanted the answer to be, and not getting one. I leaned over and put my elbow on Bones head, and leaned my head on my hand as I thought about my class. I planned on exploring how each of them worked together, but that was not the main reason why I came to this game world. Mechanized armor. Nothing had really changed after finding out I was alone in this world, and that meant my first plan had to be on how to get some type of producti
