Chapter 18: Harold, Not My Future Wife I was pumped! Even though I know this is a fantasy world, and I am supposed to accept that, Mr. Williams is da man! Almost every skeleton was working on collecting the resources that rained for 2 entire days in the pit, but because of the ground shifting, my house was destroyed. That sucked, but I got my planks of notes out, and created a small building out of bone to store them for now because we got our first cloud today. It was just a tiny little white fluffy thing that made a wide circular path around the area, but considering the lack of any other ones in at least 100 miles, I was slightly worried. The world around me was changing, I knew this for sure, but if there was only one now, I didn't really want to think what that could mean for the future. It more than likely meant this area was going to have a lot more clouds in the future, or maybe not. Everything I assumed was guesses based on all my past in-game experience, but being in a world while it was loading up was a whole other beast. Still, I was beyond excited to try this summoning scroll for a fricken robot! Yes, I was still super excited about it, but seeing all the small resources stop falling in my mine pit made me wait, and focus on making more carts, and getting the material out of the pit. If my guess was right, much larger rocks and resources will come next, then water, other more drastic landscape changes, weather, day and night cycles, and lifeforms. The problem was when and in what order? "Yet, all the orders I can give are given, and all bones are moving," I smiled, and then looked at Bones, Chip, and Crack. "You guys ready to meet the newest team member?" I was answered with the happy howling and clacking of my three loyal summons, and the rest of the skeletons all turned their skulls at once to stare at me. They were ready. "Good, then let's summon some robots!" I grinned, and opened up my item box menu, and selected the only option on the screen. With a bright light, and the sound of metal clanking and steam hissing, a puff of steam filled the area. I tried to breathe, but whatever the smoke was, it was not air, and I had to cough out the smoke which had gained the weirdest slimy texture, but turn back into smoke once it left my mouth. After jumping back from the smoke, I had to wait over 10 minutes before the smoke cleared off, and I was left tipping my head at the 2 foot tall metal cat looking thing that looked more like a homeless child's stuffed cyber punk animal or something. Still, I rushed over and scooped up my first taste of mecha in this world! I almost had tears in my eyes as I spun the cat bot around. I was laughing as I did, but then it came on, and I froze as a face I recognized appeared on a screen that replaced the eyes, nose and mouth of the cat. "Allen, I don't have long, but good luck and be safe! Do not die! We don't know what will happen! I miss you!" I just stared at Ciara's face in wonder. Not because she was really pretty, because she was, but because while it had been just over thirty days for me, only a few hours had passed since I got in the game. "How does she miss me already?" I wondered, but then sighed. "I kind of miss her getting so close, and her lap was pretty nice." I put my cat down, but then the screen came back on, but this time it was both Ciara and Nathan, but then were fighting about something, trying to get ahold of the camera. "Allen! Don't listen to her! Name it Mushi Mushi!" Nathan roared as he tried to keep the camera on himself, but Ciara was acting like a wild animal trying to pull it away from him. "No! We already said we were sending my face, so it should have my name!" Ciara growled as she pulled back and then Sparta kicked him right off the swivel chair, sending my poor best friend sprawling on the floor. I tried to keep a straight face, but Ciara put the camera so close to her face that all I could see were her green eyes and nose that was smushed in the botto
