Xander walked against the crowd carefully. Making sure not one memory was disturbed as he walked through the streets, listening to the people as he walked. But no matter what they said he couldn’t take his eyes off the building kissing the sky. The highest point in Tar’s. Eagerly watching for a sign, for a flicker of change. It wasn’t clear before but that vague presence he detected… I was circling them now as if they we’re rats in a cage. And with each passing moment Xander looks over his shoulder, his heart fills with deafening rage as he notices more and more of them scattered across the town, working to box them in. Its only then that the best of them appeared along the black roads wielding a his glaive. Staring Xander down with pure malice like a runaway slave from behind a mask. “Xander, The Drought. We’ve come for the Out Worlder do not get in the way. If you refuse you’ll face the combined might of the Comet Crusade.” Xander laughed so loud while radiating such a raw killing intent, that even from a far you could feel it washing over the ground and eclipsing every cloud in the sky. As a torrents of water formed at his feet in a spiral, climbing up to his head. “So you’re grand plan to stop me is to bring the whole Comet Crusader? You had better chances bringing a Sentreon and we know how that worked out last time! But I guess they won’t learn until none of you come back. So let me make this clear… I’m not in danger so you better fall back. The finder is the keeper so I won’t be giving him back.” A strong silence filled the air as blue flames from the past engulfed the town, shooting high into the air. “We know of you’re nature so don’t expect us to fight fair. You made you’re choice so you will die here.” Masked by the raging flames a glaive arked from a building nearly missing his left eye as Xander leaned back, carefully analyzing its vigorous shake. “Oh-ho! You’re smarter than that mangy bird but lets see if you have the strength to match!” Barley avoiding the attack, Xander dodges into it, slowly drifting forward as he grabs onto their right hand with left and redirects it to their head. Quickly letting go as a meticulous ping with a quickening pace blares close by his head. Forcing Xander back as he shakes his head. “You’re not as strong as imagined but I guess the rumors were true or you’d already be dead. So tell me, how is it you’re still alive? I heard the legendary Comet Crusaders we’re legends but all legends are dead.” The flames blocked out everything on the ground. Masking every strike as they clash back and forth, exchanging crushing blows until the captain’s leg buckle’s and Xander launches him over the flames. Straight into a high rise, that appears to be in pieces as bubbling sparks of flame tear through the floor, bringing it all down as they fall through and Xander goes flying through a wall. Crashing into the building across from them as that sharp sound rises again like a banishes scream, beneath the symphony of destruction echoing throughout the town. Drowning out the fearful cries of the people fading away without feeling a thing as their bodies turn to ash and buildings became debris. Leaving a trail of death and destruction throughout the town as soldiers gather on the rooftops that remain. Driving strange devices beneath their feet at each end of town, that resonated with vibrant flare as they enveloped into a vigorous shine. Letting of the smallest embers of a deep red flame, welling up from inside as they locked eyes on their target within the building, frantically moving upward in search for a way out. “Damn it! That’s all I get?! I get these tear’s are important but how did this happen?! What did you do?!” I nearly feel through the floor as my foot fell through the floor, leaving me hanging by my hands trying to remember what was real but we never got this far. Either way I have to keep going, there’s no telling how far I’ll fall or how long I can hold on. I managed to pull myself halfway
