He looked at his system He did not have much time He had to find a solution fast The skills will not work nor would his stats He had to check the shop He was not able to properly even check his system out , the panic that had taken hold of him didn’t let him He looked at the system then at the swarm The swarm was like a storm cloud ,overcastting the sky itself He saw them latching on to the flesh of monsters digging inside them and leaving them devoid of life and Blood and flesh The corpses were just skin and bones, literally He started to skim the shop to find a useful item, there were potions and drugs and weapons soon An item caught his eye The vial of the blood of lady arch<diluted: effects and duration will be reduced by half> ~the queen of the spiders liked having baths of blood of her victims, when she got out of the pool all that was left was a residue so corrosive the person who would ingest even a drop would have their blood contaminated in open air for seven days and seven nights become so revolting and acidic that it would burn through their own skin and wounds and would burn a hundred times more to everything else. Cost- 100 sr Balance-250 sr “Must I?” ray thought then but then looked at the approaching swarm and made up his mind. He bought it . A small glass vial with a drop of a red liquid appeared in his hand. He pulled the cap off, the smell was very disgusting. He drank it His insides seemed to burn violently soon the burning sensation spread through his body turning into agony He the looked at his bleeding wound ,which was just beginning to heal , had started degrading again due to the blood coming out which had now taken a slight tinge of green. He steadied his trembling hands and took out the twin blades And started making small cuts all over his body Pain exploded inside his body on his skin and in his blood vessels Soon he was bleeding all over covered in blood forming an pool beneath him He took in a sharp breath His mind had become a mush But he still continued He then laid down and started rolling in his own pool of blood covering every part of him burning him from inside out. And soon the swarm came He had thought that they would try to drink his blood and die something would happen But the swarm just passed away The smell alone was enough to avoid them His pain, his agony all was in vain He had miscalculated in his panic and desperation Again He had failed to notice that they did not even touch small or difficult prey They had just kept passing If he had just taken the vial and hid in the grave and only used it in desperate time, when the insects attack he would have been in much better condition He realized He was stupid and weak. That was his last thought before he passed out. ---chapter end---
