What happens when the unluckiest man on Earth gets a class based purely on luck? I died in the most beautiful place a man could die - a shady gambling parlour run by a local thug. I'd never won anything in life, except for a couple of bucks in a pack of chips, and that luck was sure to follow me into the afterlife. Turns out heaven isn't as nice as they say. It's quite fucking awful, actually. A four-foot-in-heels goddess of luck took one look at my soul, decided I was a problem, and awakened something in me that dragged me into a whole new world. Now this awakened System has decided my entire combat class should be Gambler. Do you want to know how it works? I throw a punch, the System flips a coin, and if it comes up wrong, it bills me. And it does that by attacking me, not the guy I was trying to hit. Everyone keeps telling me to bet small. Bet safe. Survive. Yeah. We'll see.
