The ground thundered under each of Renées titanic steps as she sprinted to make as much distance between her and the Infinite Choir as possible. The woman terrified Renée with her insanity. As she dashed through the field, she was too focused on where she was going rather than what was around her. A myriad of different beings of smaller proportions ran for their lives to evade Renées rampage. After she thought she was far enough away, which her new body told her was exactly ten point seven miles, she stopped. Did I lose her? Although I doubt I can get away forever, she did say she is a goddess, right? At least I can have a few minutes to myself. Renée settled down on the grass and contemplated everything that had happened. So I am now just a soul in a robot body? How does that even work? I presume there is no going back, but I don’t want to go back to that insane goddess. What to do, what to do. Working out what this body can do is a good start, I guess. Slowly, she rose from her spot and looked around at her surroundings. She was in a large, well-cared-for field, except now where she had just run through it. I should probably apologise to whoever looks after the grounds here, I might have just destroyed years of work. Beyond the field in the distance was the main school building. It was a mix of Victorian and traditional Greek architecture that perfectly blended into one cohesive design. The other side of her, opposite the school building, was an immense forest of unimaginably tall trees. Renée stared at the line of trees some distance from her with her new enhanced vision. It gave her an unsettling feeling, as much as a robot can feel anyway, more of a shiver through her soul. Better stay away from there. Now, how do I do this new robot stuff? Renée closed her imaginary eyes and focused on her new form. Sensing the new and foreign systems that made up her new body. Countless wires, machines and hydraulics ran throughout her metal body, each connected in some way or another to a container that was in the centre of her form. The vessel was made of a glass like material with a silver foggy substance. Is that my soul? Renée had guessed correctly; her soul was visible to her, her life essence, vulnerable but protected. I am just going to ignore that for now, how I had my soul ripped out of my body and stuffed into this contraption. She redirected her focus onto the other elements of herself. A certain amount of pre-programming in her systems influenced and informed her of each implement’s purpose. Quickly, she flipped through each feature, multiple vision types, each weapon and many other features. Did she arm me to fight an entire army? Claws sharper and harder than any other blade, twenty, point defence cannons and even a fifteen-inch main gun! This is dangerous! I have no training in these! While Renée was starting to have a panic attack, she heard a metallic tapping on her front paw. Slowly, she looked down to find the small form of a pink-haired girl trembling slightly at her side. She was a girl of average height, fluffy and short pink hair and pointed ears, adorned her nervous face and cuteness. Her body was covered in loose, flowing robes, making it hard for Renée to make out any other distinguishing features. “Uhm, can I help you pink one?” Renée asked awkwardly. “Eek!” the girl, clearly startled by the interaction, jumped back a few paces. “Why are you so startled by me talking to you after approaching me yourself?” The pink girl fidgeted with her obviously Greek god-inspired robes. “Uhm, I- I am not the best at talking to people, especially new people. But you were too curious to ignore. Uhm, sorry.” Her voice quivered almost on the verge of tears. Despite her fears being somewhat irritating, why is she so adorable? That floofy pink hair of hers and that soft voice and kind personality of hers make her adorable! And I have only known her for ninety-five seconds and five milliseconds. “What’s your name, little pink?” Th
