‘Damn it, just how much longer am I supposed to endure this?! Why can't I find my way out of this barren land or come across a single living creature?!’ An overly emaciated figure walked on the barren earth, so skinny that calling him a fleshly skeleton wasn't an exaggeration in the slightest bit. All the bones in his body could be clearly seen including cheek bones and the skull's eye socket. The loincloth had long being digested by Luke since he's been in this place for more than six months and hadn't eaten anything in four months nor had he come across anything other than the soil beneath his feet. Now, his body has finally reached its limits and he collapsed on the ground, unmoving and his breathing very slow and faint. … Days passed and Luke remained still, as if even the slightest movement would cost him dearly. One day, still unconscious, a semi-spherical shaped spaceship flew past Luke but Luke remained still, his life force draining every second he spent just breathing. The spaceship was very fast, disappearing from the sky within seconds but then a few minutes later, it returned and hovered in the sky above Luke's location. It hovered there for more than five minutes before descending until it was five hundred meters above Luke. A beam of light was then released by the bottom part of the ship and then Luke's body floated in the air, a small opening in the ship opened and Luke was swallowed inside. If he'd been conscious, he'd think to himself, ‘Man, I'm being abducted by an alien spaceship’. … “Carter, what's his status?” asked a handsome middle aged man whose entire being was oozing confidence and authority. The one he was talking to was another male figure, an old man in his sixties but still full of vitality and eyes still clear and full of wisdom. “I've placed him inside one of the nutrient solution containers and is now out of danger. If we were a day late then we'd have come across a corpse. His cell activity is abnormally high, many times higher than an average human but that might be because he's a Trinity Master. Also, his recovery speed is very fast, he'll be in better condition by tomorrow I suffice. As for other things, he's in the clear, I'll have to run more tests once his condition is better.” said the old man. “Good, as fellow humans, we should be taking care of one another. Carter, make sure that he fully recovers.” “Yes Captain, I'll do just that.” “Good, is Chad and Sasha still working on the engines or have they already gone to sleep?” “They've already gone to sleep. Emily and Judith are in the gym, they started early today.” “Alright, go on with your business then,” … A few hours quickly went by and old Carter went to check on his patient in the Recovery Room where there were multiple large glass containers full of nutrient solutions. One of the glass containers was empty with a fully healthy human sleeping inside. Carter opened the glass door and carried out the unconscious man and placed him on a bed he'd already prepared. Just as he was about to place the man on the bed, he felt pricks on the back of his head. “Don't move,” said the sleeping man or rather Luke as he slowly opened his eyes, revealing his intimidating purple and black eyes. Carter felt like five knives were pointed at the back of his head, one mistake and he'd die. “Who are you and where am I?” Luke asked. “I'm Carter, Doctor Carter Blue. You're in our spaceship, we found you in the Endless Barren and brought you inside our ship and nursed you back to health.” Carter quickly explained. Luke then retracted his claw from Carter's head. “I'm sorry, it's just that I'm cautious by nature, that's why I reacted in such a manner, please forgive me.” said Luke with a sincere face. “Haha, don't worry, no harm no foul. I would have reacted in the same way if I were in your situation.” said Carter, trying to defuse the situation. “Mhm, thank you for understanding,” “No worries and since you're already awake, I don't think there's a
