Lady Roberta had scheduled a meeting with her employee and they were currently discussing business matters in a 5 star restaurant whilst waiting for their food to arrive. Lady Roberta was wearing a glamourous dress with a split from the waist down to her left ankle and the dress was a tight fit. She looked a bit younger and more beautiful with her makeup on, earrings and necklaces she was wearing. “Madam, I don't know if you've been following the news but I think someone or some people are targeting our markets. Lady Harrison has already been eliminated and her cosmetics company was confiscated, Mr Aaland has also disappeared and his drug business has been closed down, even Mr Boil is thinking of closing down his business and laying low for a while. As for us, I've been having trouble when ordering new products or having them delivered. Some of the girls received private orders and never returned, I fear…” “This does seem like a scheme to get rid of the old so the new can enter. David, since the situation is so risky, close down all other business and leave only the strip clubs open. I'll have a word with the Star Church and Adventurers Guild. Those two can't keep eating my money then not protect me when the time comes. I might not have any Mana Affinity but I am a Business Woman by Profession.” said Lady Roberta with a cold glint. Gulp! David swallowed hard as their food finally arrived. Luke was standing calmly behind Roberta and was taking notes of the whole conversation. A few months ago, Roberta decided to teach Luke all about the business world and its machinations. Initially, this wasn't part of her plan but because Luke awakened as a Ring Master, he could potentially do better than her and even expand the business to other cities. Because she was an ordinary human, she never had the courage to expand outside of Nolan City. … Different delicacies were placed on the table, each one easily able to make one's mouth water from presentation alone. The waitress opened the two centuries old wine bottle and half filled each glass. David had long forgotten about business, his eyes were glued to the table, this was because not just anyone could dine in this restaurant and not everyone could enjoy food especially prepared by the head chef. Lady Roberta was about to taste the wine when a strong hand stopped her, Luke had intervened. “You, drink this. Make sure you drink all of it!” said Luke coldly as he gazed at the waitress. The waitress didn't know what was going on but did as she was told and drank the entire content inside the wine but nothing happened. “You may go,” said Luke and David was already eating, savouring every bite like it was his last. “Are you enjoying yourself? Is the food really that delicious?” Roberta asked and David nodded but suddenly stopped eating. His face and neck turned red, his eyes bulging and purple veins appeared on his body. Bang! David tried to say something but ultimately failed and fell face first on one of the plates, his body completely lifeless. “Roberta, we have to get out of here!” said Luke as he carried her princess style and ran towards the exit. Luke was so fast that he was gone in mere seconds. A few figures in the restaurant stood up from their seats and ran towards the exit, their speed was very fast but inferior to Luke's. Nonetheless, they still chased after him. The other customers also left the restaurant without paying their bills. In a matter of minutes, the restaurant was empty. A woman walked over to Roberta’s table, sat down and started eating the food on the table. This was the same woman who'd been working as a waitress at this restaurant. Another person walked over, pushed David away and sat down like he owned the place. This person was a man wearing the head chef attire and had a serious expression on his face. “So, what do you think?” he asked. “He has quite an intimidating gaze and is quite capable…but still someone I can easily deal with if I'm going all out.
