Chapter 29: Administrators PancakesWitch ----- Administrators, inhabitants from other worlds that have ascended into this new Status through the power of the Higher Ups, and sometimes of the {Council of Nebulas}, if they have enough Authority and Power. By the way, Higher Ups and the {Council of Nebulas} are two different titles, belonging to completely different groups and hierarchies… The Higher Ups are the true masters of it all, but the Council of Nebulas is so large that they’re capable of convincing them and having a say in many of these Rules as well. But not as absolute as the Higher Ups. Or, as some call them, the Void Rulers. I assume [] is within the Higher Ups, hence why he can alter this world by adding me in without everyone else knowing except his loyal servant, the Jester. …No, wait, if that’s the case, wouldn’t the other Void Rulers know too? It feels like it is even higher than them. No, that’s impossible. Such a being never showed up in the novel. Ah, I’m getting a bit sidetracked. Let’s think about this on another occasion. The Void Rulers are a whole other problem I don’t want to think about in such early stages. Anyway, they are similar to Constellations in many ways but also limited in what they can achieve. Administrators have decided to help with the whole process of Awakening other Worlds instead of working on their own as Constellations. Their Ranks also vary tremendously. The lowest of them are present in worlds, but the High Administrators… Those guys only live within the boundaries of the Third Awakening. They’re often based on characters from fairy tales. Charlotte is one of them, a black spider from a fairy tale whose name I don’t remember, but I think it involved a pig. There are also all other kinds of administrators: a sadistic rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, the pig-eating wolf from the Three Little Piggies, and even goddamn Pinocchio. Though their personalities tend to vary, they often only see humans as disposable pawns and as ways for them to earn benefits and power, and they curry favor for Constellations. They were designed to assist the Constellations in finding Incarnations and creating Quests to move the world forward, even if that meant killing thousands or millions while doing so. Of course, they begin appearing in the Second Awakening because they’re still preparing themselves; nobody knows about them yet, except me. However, although they’re bastards, they’re also quite useful little goblins. Why? Well, they’re armed with a wide variety of useful perks. “W-What do you want from me?! That you can see me doesn’t mean I will do anything for you! E-Even if many esteemed Constellations are already interested in you…” Charlotte said, clearly feeling rather nervous about the many Constellations watching over him. “Look, I am in a hurry right now, so how about we make a fair exchange?” I asked. “Give me one of the Contract Scrolls you use to make Exclusive Contracts and I’ll make sure to give you back the favor when the Second Awakening begins.” “Huh?! W-Why would I-” [Several Constellations are glaring angrily at [Administrator #738: Charlotte]!] [They say they might not even watch their Event Quests now that it has shown to be a very boring Administrator.] [Several Constellations are yawning, bored.] [Some are pissed off…] “Geh?! W-Wait! Please don’t say those things, Constellations! I-I…!” The spider had a rather unlucky day. Perhaps it was here because it realized I entered a Dungeon that was part of her own Event Quest ahead of time. I bet she never expected this to happen, though. Also, if she was intimidated by Isis, it meant she was a very low-rank Administrator, just starting. High Administrators can talk face-to-face with Constellations and easily reject them if they want to. A low rank can’t do so as easily. “Come on,” I said. [The Cosmic Throne {Lady that Soothes the Souls of the Death} has sponsored 10.000 Plot Points to [Administrator #738: Charlotte] [She says this should
