Cleis returned to his table. “So, what did you find?” Marie took a quick look at Seo Jun, who seemed to be lost in thought, before turning to Cleis. “You’re not putting any questionable thoughts in his head, are you?” Cleis smiled calmly. “We just had a little chat, that’s all.” “Is that so?” Marie narrowed her eyes as she studied his reaction, trying to see how honest he was. Cleis sighed and shook his head softly. “You’re getting too paranoid, Marie. If I really wanted to ruin your Office, I would have various ways to do so. Besides, why would I allow you to have free access to our Office computer if I have ill will toward you?” Marie nodded as her voice softened. “My apologies. You’re right. It’s just that a lot of things have been happening lately.” “That’s understandable. Well, what have you gathered?” the golden-haired man replied. Marie shook her head. “Not much. However, I did find this.” She raised her hand and created a folder of paper using her Aspect before handing it to Cleis. “Dmitri is a Brigadir under the Namestnik of the eastern part of the Undercity, Valentina. Under him are two Boeviks, Klara and Hudson. Both Dmitri and Klara are Aspect Holders. As for Hudson, he seems to just be an augmented human.” Cleis quickly read through the folder of information Marie had just created before putting it aside. He seemed to have a good understanding of what she was trying to do. “You’re planning to get him at the Starlight Club, then?” The Starlight Club was a popular club in the Undercity. Despite being a club, it was actually a cover for the Syndicate’s various other activities. Of course, this was nothing new, as the club had originally been a meeting place for the Siberian Fang Syndicate, as well as other Syndicates working under them. After some time, however, the place eventually became a club for entertainment purposes, as well as a way to earn additional money for the Syndicate. Marie nodded. “Yes. You are correct. There should be a meeting at the Starlight Club soon. If anything, I believe it will happen tonight.” Cleis fell silent for a moment, the Starlight Club was indeed used for meetings between the eastern branches of the Siberian Fang Syndicate. That much made sense. What did not make sense was the timing. If a formal meeting was happening tonight, he would have heard something about it. A gathering of that scale would involve all four Brigadirs, their forces, and perhaps even Valentina herself. Something like that could not be arranged quietly on such short notice. Unless the meeting was either important enough to be hidden from most people or too small to matter. Cleis leaned back slightly. “Let us assume that is true. If this is a meeting between the main bodies of the Siberian Fang Syndicate’s eastern branch, how can you be so sure it will happen tonight?” Cleis continued. “And if such a meeting truly takes place, then all members of the eastern branch would be involved. That includes the four Brigadirs and Valentina herself.” His voice remained calm, but his meaning was clear. “Trying to enter that meeting with so little preparation would be nothing more than a death wish. Even if I assume your team can get inside and fend off four Brigadirs, a Namestnik, and the eastern branch’s forces, it is still far too risky.” “Oh, I know that,” Marie replied. “But who said tonight’s meeting is between the entire eastern branch?” Cleis raised an eyebrow. Marie smiled faintly. “It could simply be a meeting between Dmitri and his subordinates.” Cleis studied her for a moment. “How did she reach that conclusion?” His mind began to race. Marie had come to his office in the afternoon. Normally, her Office would begin taking requests in the morning, which meant she had spent several hours investigating before arriving here. The information about FlashDrop Logistics had most likely come from that morning’s work. FlashDrop Logistics had several locations throughout Veston City, but its main branch was in Sierra Distric
