Five Treasures Pavilion wasn't busy. Only a few other potential customers were browsing as Ye Fan entered the first floor. Many different kinds of weapons lined the walls. The weapons ranged from swords made of ironwood to large halberds made of tempered steel. This was only the first floor, so there wouldn't be anything special on display. A shop attendant walked over to Ye Fan and greeted him. "Welcome to the Five Treasures Pavilion, guest! What are you looking for today?" Ye Fan wore ordinary blue robes and still smelled like sweat from his morning routine, but the shop attendant wasn't going to let appearances fool him. The only thing that mattered was if they were a paying customer. "I'd like to order a Black Iron sword." The shopkeeper hid his surprise. Fixing his spectacles, he promptly responded. "Of course, honored guest. What size were you thinking?" "I'd like something that will work for me." "I don't think I have any Black Iron weapons in your size on hand, but we have other similar weapons in your size. They will cost more than Black Iron weapons." "That's fine." Ye Fan displayed a confident smile. Seeing this, the attendant led the youth up to the second floor. The second floor had weapons of much better quality. Some had embellishments on their handle that showed the care the craftsman put into them. The weapons were held behind glass display cases that had protective formations engraved. Ye Fan felt the string around his neck lightly tug at him. When Ye Fan looked down, he saw a faint golden flow that got past his robes. Ye Fan pulled the golden lotus pendant from under his robes and followed the direction it took him in. The attendant didn't notice and continued his way to the sword selection. "Here we are honored guest. Tell-" The attendant cut off the rest of his statement and scanned the room. When he found Ye Fan standing at a different section, he hurriedly walked over. "Honored guest, this is the section for curious trinkets. Have you found something that caught your eye?" "Yes, how much is that?" Ye Fan pointed toward what looked to be a corroded metal stick. Although it may have been a good sword in the distant past, it was corroded beyond recognition and was no different from a piece of scrap metal now. "For six gold, it'll be yours right now." The attendant didn't hesitate in his response. Ye Fan withdrew six gold coins from his spatial artifact and handed them over to the attendant. Although he was shocked by Ye Fan's actions, the attendant quickly handed over the trinket to the youth. He took another look at the unassuming silver ring on Ye Fan's hand. "I haven't seen such a spatial artifact in a while. Are you a core disciple of a cultivation sect, young master?" The attendant subconsciously changed the way he addressed Ye Fan. Ye Fan didn't take notice of this and instead began fiddling with the corroded metal stick, trying to figure out why his pendant had reacted to it. He responded to the attendant absentmindedly. "No, my master gave it to me." "Then, your master must be a great figure in the cultivation world." "Mhm. My Master is incredibly strong." Ye Fan revealed a frown as the sword didn't seem to react no matter what he did. The golden lotus pendant had also stopped reacting when Ye Fan picked up the corroded metal stick. Even when he touched the pendant to the stick, neither of them reacted to each other. It was as if what he had seen before was just a hallucination. "Well, young master. Is there anything else you'd like to buy? You said before that you needed a sword." "Oh, yes. Please show me the swords." Ye Fan placed the trinket into his spatial artifact. The attendant made his way back to the other side of the floor. When they arrived in front of the swords, he began to introduce them. "These are all swords that have been made from materials that surpass Black Iron. The ones that we have in your size are these three swords right here." The attendant turned Ye Fan's attention to thre
