Luke is a teenage boy who goes hiking with his friends and girlfriend. Nighttime in the woods, Luke is making out with his girlfriend when a wolf appears from out of nowhere and attacks them. Luke tackles with the wolf whilst his girlfriend runs to call for help. Luke then manages to throw off the wolf and runs away but the wolf chases after him and bites his leg, another wolf appears from nowhere and pounces on his shoulder, tearing it open. Luke doesn't stop running away as more wolves join the hunt, he sees a bear's cave and enters it, thinking it's better to be eaten by a bear than being eaten alive by wolves. The wolves are afraid to enter the cave so Luke is temporarily safe but he's lost too much blood but enters deeper into the cave where he then collapses on the corpse of an Alpha Werewolf. The Werewolf corpse assimilates with the unconscious Luke and the next thing, Luke finds himself in a foreign world of fantasy and magic.

He wakes in mud, bleeding and weak, surrounded by screaming peasants. Moments later, he dies. Once a man from modern Earth, he is reborn as a nameless peasant in the Kingdom of Aldwyne just in time to be crushed in a rebellion doomed from the start. Yet death is not the end. Each time he falls, the world pulls him back to the same moment, forcing him to relive the massacre again and again. Survival shifts the rules. Escape changes the return point. And with every reset, he remembers. In a kingdom ruled by ruthless lords and sanctified cruelty, a single peasant begins to learn how the system works and how it can be broken. He cannot overpower his enemies. He cannot outrun fate forever. But he can die trying. And he never forgets. .. I based this story on the 1514 Hungarian Peasant Revolt. so, if you know some things about that you might guess some of the earlier plots
