Fluke was the worst kobold who ever lived. He was a clumsy, awkward, malformed, 50-ton, thick-scaled, razor-clawed, creature of unimaginable destruction. He caved in the entire east copper mine with a swing of his tail, and he nearly crushedthe hatchery caretaker Tenderclaw beneath his massive feet. He was truly the worst. Now, I know what you're thinking. That... sounds like I'm talking about a dragon. But no. Fluke was confident he was a simple kobold. He knew it. Everyone in the tribe knew it. Hatched from an egg? Check. Raised by kobolds? Check. Lives underground in caves? Check. Clearly, a kobold. Dragons were royalty.  Powerful, majestic, titanic beasts of pure elemental power. And Fluke certainly wasn't any of that. After all, no all-powerful dragon would toil away in the mines like he did… right? But when the humans attacked one day, and he saw his friend struck down , Fluke began to learn there might be parts of himself he’s… overlooked. Please, have a seat, and let me tell you about Fluke. This story is about a boy and a girl who like each other, but they don't know if the other person likes them back. Let's see if they're able to confess their feelings or not... in time. Read at your own risk. Reading this might feel like a half-dead experience because there is absolutely no life in my writing yet. This is just a random thing I am trying to write. I have no actual idea how to write, I am just doing it because the idea seemed fun. I am not good at grammar or the structured form of writing, so things might be all over the place. With no memories of himself and nowhere to go, a lost boy must find his way through an unknown world with instinct alone. Trusting in a body he doesn’t recognize to keep him alive throughout the day while enduring its repressed memories at night. With no guarantee to see tomorrow and no way back from today, will he be able to face his future knowing his past does not exist? Or will he choose to live in the moment forever, betting it all on today?
